Senior Accountant role with potential to step up to Finance Manager
$110k - $120k + Super + Bonus
This high profile global property group has a range of investments, funds, and development projects covering key asset sectors that are some of the fastest growing markets around the world. They are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their Australian team in a role that is earmarked to set up to a Manager role in the next 12-18 months.
Based in the Corporate team, key duties will include:
Preparation of half year and year end financial reports
Consolidated monthly group management reports and P&L variance commentary
Group cash flow forecasts
Assisting with the annual budget process
Review of month-end reconciliations and journals
Preparation and review of tax returns, BAS, and FBT
Supervision of junior team members
You will be CA/CPA qualified, ideally having started your career in a chartered firm (big 4/2nd tier) and with 2+ years experience in a financial accounting position in a large corporate organisation. Great attention to detail, communication skills, proactive nature, and the desire to move up into a Manager role are all key.
