Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint a yardperson to support operations in our Cairns Branch.
About the role
General yard duties including cleaning of hire equipment and the branch
Supporting the day to day operations in the branch including deliveries when required
In house training on machinery operation
Adopt and comply with a high level of safe work culture
Assisting mechanics in the workshop
Monday to Friday - 38 hours a week with overtime available
Key Skills
Forklift licence would be highly regarded
Customer Service mindset
Mechanical experience would be advantageous
Great communication skills & team spirit
A commitment to adhere to safe work practices
A willingness to work and learn on the job
Willingness to follow instructions and ask for assistance when needed
Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
