About Us

At Australian Mentoring Services (AMS), we provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community-based support for people living with disability and mental health needs. We are currently seeking a Property & Maintenance Coordinator to ensure our homes and facilities meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and comfort.


The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Property & Maintenance Coordinator will play a key role in managing the maintenance and compliance of AMS homes and facilities. This role is responsible for:

  • Coordinating property set-up, maintenance, and compliance requirements.

  • Logging, allocating, and tracking maintenance requests.

  • Managing contractors, service providers, and real estate agencies.

  • Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Leading and supporting the Maintenance & Repairs Officer.

  • Ensuring an exceptional customer experience for participants, staff, and stakeholders.


This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, 5 days a week). The role operates under a hybrid working model (office and remote), with some travel to sites required.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Property management experience (essential).

  • Experience with the Residential Tenancy Act and NCAT.

  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude.


Essential requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s Licence.

  • NDIS Worker Check.

  • NSW Working With Children Check.
