• 0.6 FTE, Maximum Term until 30 June 2026

• From $51.23 per hour (Level 5, SACS EA 2017) + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

Make a difference in your community

Join the WEAVE – AOD Services team in South East Melbourne, supporting people experiencing co-occurring alcohol and other drug (AOD), mental health, and psychosocial challenges. At Each, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to person-centred, trauma-informed care.

Your role, your impact

As an Integrated AOD Counsellor, you will:

• Deliver therapeutic counselling interventions to clients with complex needs, including AOD and mental health challenges.
• Provide outreach support to engage vulnerable and hard-to-reach clients, helping them achieve treatment stability.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and facilitate referrals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation using Each’s client management systems.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and respectful environment.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and reflective practice to support your ongoing development.

Who we’re looking for

• Experience working with people with alcohol and other drug use and/or mental health concerns.
• Experience supporting clients with co-occurring challenges, such as trauma, family violence, homelessness, or physical health issues.
• Tertiary qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, or a related discipline.
• Current driver’s license.
