Senior Civil Designer /Senior Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure

You’ll be working hands-on with Civil 3D to deliver the detailed design of pump stations, treatment plants, and associated water infrastructure.
This is a technical, hands-on focused role so is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in design rather than just overseeing teams. The team is currenlty in its growing phase, so while there’s no direct team leadership initially, there will be future opportunities to mentor and lead as the team expands. You’ll have the chance to be part of the team’s growth and see the impact of your work as the team develops!

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver detailed and technical civil designs for a wide range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects (Focus on pump stations, treatment plants and pipelines)
- Produce and coordinate design documentation using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related tools.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring designs are accurate, practical, and completed on time and within budget, while coordinating with team members and stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, practical design outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, design standards, and safety regulations.
- Provide input during feasibility and concept design phases and support project delivery.
- 7–15+ years of experience in water infrastructure design within consulting or utilities sectors.
- Strong hands-on Civil 3D design skills – essential.
- For Engineer roles – a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- For Designer roles – relevant design/drafting qualifications and strong project design experience.
- Proven experience across pump stations, treatment plants, or major water network projects.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, designers, and clients.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude with an interest in professional growth and technical development.
