We are looking for Project Support Officer to help support Queensland’s maritime infrastructure through your strong project coordination, reporting and administration skills.
Hudson is partnering with a leading state government department to recruit a Project Support Officer to assist the delivery of Queensland’s boating infrastructure maintenance and capital works program.

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.

Hudson is partnering with a leading state government department to recruit a Project Support Officer to assist the delivery of Queensland’s boating infrastructure maintenance and capital works program.
Key responsibilities
- Provide project and administrative support across maintenance and capital works streams
- Maintain and track project schedules, milestones and deliverables
- Prepare and review project documentation, meeting minutes and financial summaries
- Support procurement and contract administration, including purchase orders and tracking deliverables
- Assist with project expenditure monitoring and financial reconciliation
- Maintain accurate records and document control in accordance with departmental standards
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and site visits, including logistics and reporting
- Contribute to governance reporting and continuous improvement across the program
- 3+ years’ experience in project or program administration within a government or infrastructure setting
- Working knowledge of tools such as MS Project, 3PCM, SAP or similar
- Understanding of project governance, procurement and financial tracking processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with TMR or other Queensland Government systems (advantageous)
