What will you be doing?
- Undertake servicing and preventative maintenance of all machinery, plant and equipment.
- Assist other trades in the form of general repair maintenance or installation of machinery.
- Diagnose functioning equipment using test equipment and tools to locate the cause of the fault.
- Inspect plant, equipment and machinery to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance codes are adhered to.
- Provide advice and guidance to the business on whether machinery is fit for use.
- Attend to and contribute towards operational and team meetings.
What do you need?
- Electrical Trade Qualification, with a minimum of 3 years trade maintenance experience.
- Strong Instrumentation experience
- Experience working with packaging, automation, labelling and refrigeration machines and equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and extensive experience in fault finding would be an advantage.
- Must have experience in high pressure on demand production environment
