We are seeking a dedicated and proficient Horticultural Maintainer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is essential for providing high-quality services in amenity horticulture across sites throughout the Shire, contributing significantly to the enhancement of the community's environment and ensuring the delivery of efficient Parks Operations services to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
carrying out horticultural operations on streetscapes, ovals, parks, and reserves
performing selective chemical and manual weed control operations
carrying out minor landscaping and reticulation works at designated sites
safely operating and maintaining all Parks operational mechanical plant and equipment
What we are looking for
relevant qualification in amenity horticulture
at least three (3) years relevant experience in a parks/horticultural maintenance discipline
involvement with pesticide operations for horticultural and/or landscape maintenance/control purposes
