We are seeking a full-time passionate and experienced Barista for our new Delicatessen in Penrith, NSW. You will be responsible for providing exceptional coffee, customer service and supporting the daily operations of the deli.
Deliver consistently high-quality coffees and beverages to Melosi Deli customers
Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive in-store experience.
Ability and willingness to assist deli team during down times, including but not limited to;
- Preparing and serving a variety of fresh deli products, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling sandwiches and packaging items for sale
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, including stocking shelves, rotating inventory and keeping display cases presentable and well stockedAdhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
Supporting the team in various operational tasks as required
4-5 years+ barista experience
Ability to consistently produce excellent coffees, especially when confronted with an influx of orders
Confident in latte art
Able to train and mentor other team members to assist in the day-to-day coffee making.
A mature attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A passion for high-quality coffee & produce and great customer service
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg regularly
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Must have a permanent right to work in Australia
