Queensland Positive People (QPP) are seeking a Clinical Administrator to provides professional, efficient administrative and clinical support to QPP’s RAPID sexual health testing service. This position delivers welcoming front-of-house and reception services, administrative coordination, and logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic functions. The role also provides professional chaperone support to the Nurse Practitioner during sexual health examinations, ensuring client comfort, safety, and dignity.

About the role:

As a Clinical Administrator, you will:

  • Provide a warm and inclusive welcome to clients, employees, and visitors, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Coordinate and perform day-to-day reception and administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of the RAPID peer-led and Nurse Practitioner-led clinics.

  • Manage client appointments, phone calls, emails, and data entry using established systems.

  • Coordinate supply requests and procurement, maintaining accurate registers.

  • Support the RAPID Program Manager, RAPID Team Leader and Nurse Practitioner with documentation, correspondence, and reporting.

  • Act as a professional chaperone for clients and the Nurse Practitioner during sexual health examinations, ensuring client dignity, safety, and comfort.

  • Contribute to the delivery of trauma-informed, culturally safe, and inclusive care for all clients.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in administration, reception, or health service coordination.

  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client-service focus.

  3. Ability to maintain exceptionally high standards in the protection and promotion of client confidentiality/privacy.

  4. Competency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  5. The provision of a National Police Check of six months currency (or international check if lived overseas in the last 12 months) or evidence that a National Police Check has been applied for.

  6. A current Queensland Blue Card or equivalent interstate Working with Children Check.
