Core Talent are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Boilermakers & Mechanical Fitters to join our clients project team on 14 day shutdown at Eagle Farm.
Locations: Eagle Farm
Start Date: 2nd Janurary 2026
Duration: 14 days straight
Hours: 12hr days (84hr weeks)
Rate: $50ph + OT Rates after 8hrs daily

Boilermaker Core Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and components
- Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal materials
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing plant and equipment
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with other trades and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Fitter Core Responsibilities
- Dismantling pumps, conveyors, valves, gearboxes, motors, and other plant machinery.
- Reassembling equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Replacing worn-out bearings, seals, couplings, and other mechanical components.
- Carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Performing alignment of shafts, pulleys, and rotating equipment.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing plant and equipment
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with other trades and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Fiiter
- Proven experience on shutdowns or project based.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
- White Card
