- Maintain existing stock item designs
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Consult with sales team and clients for project requirements
- Produce conceptual 3D models and detailed drawings
- Ensure design compliance with Australian regulations
- Produce engineering drawings of the product for the manufacturing team to produce
- Oversee component procurement and monitor production
- Drafting experience for engineering projects
- Background in fabrication and mechanical design
- Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
- Competent in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)
- Project management skills
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and regulations
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering is preferred
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
