Federal Government Department that is transitioning away from a shared services environment.
The Roles:
We are recruiting APS4, APS5 and APS6 roles that will run for 12 months on a non-ongoing basis, or permanently via an s26 transfer. You will be working in the newly established financial operations team. This has been created due to the departments choice to move away from a shared services environment, to create their own internal team.
The roles on offer are:
- APS4
- General Finance Officer
- Debt Recovery Officer
- APS5
- General Finance Officer
- APS6
- General Finance Officer
- Data and Database Administration Officer.
They have TechOne as their FMIS and also use Expesne8 for travel, credit cards, expenses. They are looking for people with a strong understanding of TechOne, processing (AP/AR/Banking) experience, great customer service skills, and the initiative to thrive and contribute to an area that will be setting up an facing initial teething issues.

Your Skills and Experience:
You are an experienced finance officer with financial operations experience from a Government environment. These are transactional accounting role, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and follow processes, and effectively communicate within a team and broader department.
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold at least a Baseline clearance to be considered for this role.
