Warehouse Supervisor Position
NTHA are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to come on board our client's team!
📍 Located in Darra, QLD
🕘 Monday - Friday | 6:30am - 3:00pm - fulltime
💰 $80,000 per annum
ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

What began as a single warehouse in Brisbane has grown into a national operation with sites across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, employing over 90 staff nationwide. Supplying premium structural and decorative timber products exclusively through a wholesale model, their customers include Building Material Merchants, Home Centres, and Truss/Frame manufacturers. The work environment is fast-paced, professional, and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support daily operations at their Darra, QLD site. This full-time, Monday–Friday role (6:30am–3:00pm) combines hands-on warehouse duties with leadership responsibilities to ensure efficiency, safety, and exceptional service standards.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise, coordinate, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve daily targets
• Ensure compliance with all WH&S and environmental requirements
• Oversee inventory management, including damage control and stock accuracy
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve operational performance
• Schedule and liaise with transport companies for incoming/outgoing freight
• Maintain machinery and ensure equipment pre-starts are completed
• Promote and maintain a clean, safe, compliant warehouse environment
• Prepare reports, lead toolbox meetings, and support continuous improvement

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
• Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience in a warehouse environment (timber industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
• Current forklift licence and confidence operating in a busy warehouse
• Solid understanding of WH&S requirements and safe work practices
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage diverse teams
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
• Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure
• Previous warehouse and pick/pack experience
• Certificate III in Warehousing Operations (highly regarded but not essential)
