About the RoleAn excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and hands-on Hotel Manager to take charge of a well-established country hotel located in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys regional living and wants to combine operational management, staff leadership, and customer service within a friendly country environment.
You’ll oversee the full operation of the venue — including accommodation, bar, bistro, events, and facilities — ensuring smooth day-to-day management, strong financial performance, and a welcoming guest experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations across accommodation, food & beverage, bar, and events
Deliver outstanding guest service and maintain high presentation standards
Supervise and motivate staff across all departments
Oversee kitchen and bar performance, menu planning, stock control, and cost management
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor P&L, and report on business performance
Recruit, train, and roster staff, fostering a positive workplace culture
Develop marketing initiatives to attract guests and promote the venue locally and online
Manage maintenance schedules, building compliance, and coordinate building upgrades or renovations as required
Ensure all licensing, WHS, and hospitality compliance standards are met
Minimum 5 years’ experience in hotel, motel, or hospitality management
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proven ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and staff teams
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and customer service abilities
Experience with hospitality systems, POS, and booking platforms
Flexible, proactive, and community-minded approach
Capable of overseeing maintenance and small-scale renovations
Desirable:
Experience in regional or remote hospitality settings
Understanding of marketing, tourism, and event promotion
