We’re seeking an Assistant Accountant with a solid foundation in accounting
Our client is a well-known name in the entertainment industry, recognised for its long-standing contribution to community events
Based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs region, this permanent part-time role pays $70K - $80K + super (FTE).

You’ll be joining a supportive environment that offers flexibility (4 days per week, with the option for 3), 1 day WFH after probation, and the chance to be part of a close-knit finance team.
Position Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day accounting operations and the monthly reporting cycle.
We are looking for candidates with experience in the following duties:
Perform daily bank reconciliations and allocate debtor payments
Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Process journals for payroll, balance sheet movements, and general ledger entries
Maintain fixed assets, leases, and petty cash
Assist with BAS, FBT, GST, and payroll tax lodgements
Support month-end reconciliations and year-end audits
Liaise with banks and assist with compliance and external reporting
About You
The successful candidate will meet the majority of the requirements below:
2–3 years’ experience in accounting or a related qualification
Exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes
A keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and strong communication skills
A genuine interest in the entertainment and events industry
