We have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced plant operator to work with a road works construction crew working from a depot at Gundagai.
Applicants must hold a minimum of LR truck licence and have experience operating earthworks plant - larger and small. Traffic control card would also be advantageous.
Plant being operated will vary and includes rollers, skid steer and excavators. Applicants MUST have proven operating experience. You must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required work tasks.
You will be working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hours over a 9 day fortnight) until for a period of approximately 2 months initially until Christmas, with genuine potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.
An immediate start of work is available.
Successful Applicants will need;
Plant Operating - proven experience in various machines including roller, skid steer and excavator
current WHS White Card - essential
Driver licence - LR truck licence or above
Traffic control ticket - or willingness to obtain
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
Please note that successful applicants will be required to undertake a police records check.
