This is a permanent full-time role based in Queensland, with the flexibility of hybrid working to support work–life balance.
 

Your part in our UnitingCare team

• Lead the planning and delivery of complex capital works projects, including greenfield and brownfield projects across the entire remit of UnitingCare Queensland’s assets.

• Ensure project outcomes align with UnitingCare Queensland’s strategic direction and organisational priorities.

• Manage multiple project teams and nurture trusted stakeholder relationships across the organisation with a deep connection to our broader purpose.

• Provide strategic input to business cases, procurement strategies, and executive reporting.

• Drive best-practice governance, risk management, and documentation across all phases of delivery.

• Champion continuous improvement through the UnitingCare Project Delivery Framework.

• Bring a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset to every challenge.
  

What makes a difference for us? 

• Well-developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders

• Demonstrated proficiency utilising Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to rapidly acquire demonstrated proficiency in the application of other relevant systems (MS Project, Visio, PowerBI).

• Demonstrated ability to work as a team member with a high level of autonomy to manage daily workloads and to contribute towards achieving the goals of the project and the broader Property Team.

• Interest in health and safety legislation and commitment to fostering a best practice safety culture

• Willingness to learn and grow into gold-standard project management skills, underpinned by UCQ Project Delivery Framework.

• Must satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
