We’re looking for an energetic and organised Leisure Activities Manager to join our team on a paternity leave contract until 01 December 2026. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who loves working with families and children, thrives in a fast-paced resort environment, and is passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences.
About the Role:
As Leisure Activities Manager, you’ll support the planning and delivery of engaging activities for guests of all ages. From seasonal events and movie nights to kids’ club adventures and waterpark safety, you’ll help ensure every moment is memorable.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and coordinate daily and weekly activity schedules.
Develop and create seasonal events for guest engagement.
Lead and supervise activities for children, families, and groups.
Roster and train staff, promoting operational efficiency and positive workplace culture.
Ensure safety and compliance across all activities.
Engage with guests to promote participation and gather feedback.
What We Are Looking For:
Previous experience in child care or recreation (preferred).
Energetic personality with excellent communication skills.
Ability to lead groups and manage multiple tasks.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior).
Current QLD Blue Card (or willingness to obtain prior).
Availability to work weekends, school holidays, and peak seasons (including public holidays, as required).
Contract Details:
Paternity leave cover ending 01 December 2026.
Part-time or full-time hours available for the right candidate.
Potential for contract extension.
