The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to join a creative organisation, working in a small, friendly and close knit office. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in the day to day finance function while gaining exposure to a broad range of entities across property, manufacturing and other ventures.

You will work with a highly experienced CFO who is willing to train and pass on many years of knowledge. It is also an opportunity to broaden your skills beyond finance.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will support the day to day financial operations and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
You are a passionate accounting professional who thrives in a close knit and hardworking finance team. You have strong technical accounting and reporting skills, along with knowledge of Australian accounting standards. You are CPA or CA qualified or working towards completion.
You are keen to learn and grow under the guidance of an experienced and supportive CFO and GM, making the most of the opportunity to develop your skills and build your career in a meaningful way.
Previous experience in a similar role, and experience using Xero and MYOB, will be highly regarded.

The Role

- Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and superannuation compliance and lodgements
- Preparing management reports, financial statements and variance analysis
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable across multiple entities
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and supporting cash flow forecasting
- Monitoring invoice approvals and ensuring timely payments
- Preparing and uploading weekly payment runs

- An experienced or senior accounting background in a commercial organisation or accounting firm with strong tenure
