As a Senior Strategic Policy Officer, you’ll play a key role in advancing intergovernmental policy initiatives, contributing to national reform agendas, and supporting quality education outcomes across the Territory. This Darwin-based opportunity is ideal for a policy professional ready to make a meaningful impact.
This position provides strategic policy advice on education and intergovernmental matters, and coordinates the department’s response to national reform initiatives. You’ll work closely with Commonwealth and NT Government partners to support evidence-based policy development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver strategic analysis and advice on public policy issues in education across local, national, and international contexts.
Support the development and implementation of strategies that drive improvement and public accountability.
Analyse intergovernmental agreements and funding arrangements to inform senior management.
Lead strategic projects and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team.
