The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Project Manager with strong experience in electrotechnology systems, such as electrical and electronic security. This role suits someone who enjoys running complex projects from start to finish and who is organised, a good leader, and strong with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage several electrotechnology projects at once, ensuring they finish on time and within budget.
• Create project plans with timelines, resources, budgets, and risk controls.
• Work with clients to design security solutions that meet their needs.
• Supervise installation and integration of CCTV, access control, alarms, and other systems.
• Monitor budgets and report on financial progress.
• Lead and work with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Identify and reduce project risks.
• Keep accurate documentation and follow industry standards and regulations.

What You’ll Bring

• Current VIC Security Licence and Driver’s Licence.
• White Card (OH&S Induction).
• Tertiary qualification or certificate in Project Management, Engineering, or related field (TAFE or equivalent preferred).
• At least 3 years’ experience managing electrotechnology projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms, and system integrations.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to travel when needed. This is not solely an office job; engagement with clients on-site is expected.
