One full time ongoing vacancy is available

As the Manager Visitor Services, you will be responsible for coordinating the visitor services team and service delivery which includes delivering a guide service and the commercial and operational management of a café, souvenir shop and ticketing admissions hub.

You’ll also manage the marketing and promotion of the park to enhance visitor attraction and engagement and the content creation for interpretation resources and informative signage at the park.

The Territory Wildlife Park

Located just 45 minutes south of Darwin, the Territory Wildlife Park is a leading zoological and conservation centre showcasing the unique wildlife and habitats of Northern Australia. As a ZAA-accredited park, it offers immersive, nature-based experiences—from walk-through aviaries and billabongs to engaging wildlife presentations. The Park plays a vital role in education, research, and conservation, while also serving as a valued community asset and cultural connector.

About you

You're a motivated professional ready to lead and elevate visitor experiences. To be successful you will have:

  • Proven experience in tourism, communication, visitor experience and retail management

  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to plan and manage programs and projects.

  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism and drive in complex and challenging business environment with a sensitive approach.

  • Proven strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and act as a representative in various environments.

  • Ability to interact effectively with people of diverse cultures.
