About our new site
Enaex Australia are proud to announce our newly awarded contract with Rio Tinto, at their Hope Downs Operations!
Hope Downs is an iron ore site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia (FIFO from Perth or Busselton). There will be 4 crews of 6 to 8 people, working an 8/6 rotating day/night roster, providing a down the hole (DTH) service.

About the position
We are actively seeking an experienced Yardperson to play an integral role in the establishment and long-term success of our new contract.
Core accountabilities include:
- Safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment
- Assist in managing stock inventory levels and reconciliations
- Escorting of raw material deliveries and unloading into site storage as required
- Ensure the QA/QC process is applied to all raw materials
- Administration duties and interactions with customers as required
- Process data input and reporting
- Regularly carry out workplace Take 5’s
- Attend toolbox discussions
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment
About you
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts
- Experience operating other plant/machinery (e.g. telehandler, EWP)
- Stock management experience with attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word and Excel)
- Experience working in an open cut mining environment highly desired
What you need
- Dangerous Goods Security Card – WA
- Forklift licence (High Risk Work Licence)
- Heavy Rigid (HR) licence - highly regarded
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word and Excel)
- Experience or exposure to corporate systems (Pronto and Myosh) highly regarded
- National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
