About the role
We’re looking for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Planner to support the reliability and performance of our surface and underground mobile fleet. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling all maintenance activities for heavy and light mobile equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution.
You’ll work closely with the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, Supervisors, and Supply teams to build practical weekly maintenance schedules, manage work orders in Pronto, and make sure all parts, tools, and contractor services are ready when needed. This role is hands-on in the planning space, verifying job readiness, tracking progress, and rescheduling as required to keep equipment availability on target.
Roster: 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only)
Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW

Qualifications and experience
An Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification/s (preferred)
Minimum 5 years’ post-trade experience on mobile mining equipment
Proven ability to plan and schedule maintenance across multiple areas and disciplines
Thorough knowledge of modern maintenance planning and scheduling philosophies
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with clear communication across departments
Proficient in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), ideally Pronto, and the Microsoft Office Suite
Current and valid manual Australian Driver’s Licence
Desirable
High Risk Licence (Forklift)
Experience coordinating contractor engagement and procurement activities
Familiarity with reliability or continuous improvement practices in a mining maintenance environment
