What you'll do:
- Write, edit and refine bid documents, tenders and proposals for commercial, residential, and defence projects
- Collaborate with design, estimating, project management, and commercial teams to gather inputs and build storylines that align with the companies values
- Maintain and enhance a library of capability statements, case studies, CVs, project profiles, technical appendices etc.
- Manage bid submissions: deadlines, review cycles, alignment with internal stakeholders
- Constantly raise quality: ensuring the written content is polished, technically accurate, compliant, persuasive
- Proven experience writing or contributing significantly to bids and tenders, in the commercial building/residential/defence sector
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong focus on clarity, grammar, style and ability to tailor tone for different audiences
- Excellent attention to detail, comfort managing multiple bids in parallel under tight timelines
- Solid Microsoft Word skills; experience with design tools like Adobe InDesign (or similar)
