The Surgical/Maternity Directorate offers equally rewarding opportunities, with:

  • A 12-bedded Maternity Ward and three Labour Suites, plus outpatient maternity care
  • Barker Ward – Surgical/Medical care with a dedicated Nurse Specials Unit
  • Endoscopy Department
  • Day of Surgical Admissions Unit, incorporating our Day Surgery Unit
  • A modern Perioperative Unit, with four theatres
  • Permanent pool, applicants will be appointed to permanent contracts in this pool where you will be allocated daily to work across different wards/departments throughout the hospital.
