- Proven experience managing a transactional finance team and accountants
- Strong knowledge of finance systems – ideally SAP, Workday, or Oracle
- Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards, compliance, and reporting
- CPA or CA qualified preferred
- Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team
- Lead and manage a transactional finance team and accountants, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, company policies, and reporting standards
- Partner with business units to support accurate financial reporting and decision-making
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance team
- Act as the key contact for finance queries and internal/external audits
