🚧 Project Engineer – Civil | FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or East Coast | Weipa Site-Based Role 🚧
Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with a leading mining client to deliver the
MC10 Amrun Haul Road Project—a critical early works package of the Kangwinan Project. We're seeking a
hands-on Project Engineer – Civil to lead the implementation and management of this exciting infrastructure development.

Location: Weipa (FIFO options available from Brisbane, Cairns, or other East Coast locations)

Roster: 9/5 or 10/4 Fly-In-Fly-Out

Project Scope: 18.6km of Haul Road including three major creek crossings
Key Accountabilities:- Developing and maintaining project schedules
- Coordination with stakeholders both internal and external
- Managing resources which includes but not limited to materials, equipments and personnel
- Development of scopes and coordination of geotechnical investigation with subcontractors
- Identify potential risks and challenges during the project lifecycle
- Coordinating the acquisition of materials and equipment (procurement).
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, changes, and other relevant information
- Development of funding gate associated documentation
- Reporting on project status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders
- Raise and follow up on approvals of the Cultural, Heritage and Environmental.
About You:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years in civil construction/earthmoving project delivery
- Experience with bulk earthworks and culvert installation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of integrity, proactive attitude, and strong work ethic
