Are you an experienced Billing & Back Office Specialist looking to join a growing energy company? Blue NRG Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Billing & Back Office Specialist to join our team in our Melbourne, VIC office. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient billing solutions to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end billing process for customers, including data collection, analysis, market transactions and invoice generation

• Ensure all billing information is accurate and compliant with industry regulations

• Liaise with stakeholders to address any billing inquiries or discrepancies in a timely manner

• Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and implement process improvements

• Provide reporting and analysis on billing activities to support business decision making

• Stay up-to-date with changes in energy industry regulations and billing requirements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an energy billing or similar role

• Strong understanding of energy industry regulations and billing practices (including MSATs and B2B/CATS procedures

• Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail

• Proficiency in SQL will be viewed favourably

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. business, accounting, finance) is preferred
