Hotel Concord - Duty Manager

Full Time, 4-5 shifts a week. The venue is a late-night trader closing at 2am.

In this hands-on role, you will oversee all aspects of our late-night venue, including gaming, bar, bistro, operations, and accommodation. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a thriving culture and make a significant impact while working closely with the venue's Licensee. The role requires a dynamic leader who can supervise staff by providing clear guidance, monitoring performance, and addressing any issues to ensure smooth and efficient operation. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and operating front of house teams across the bar, gaming and bistro to ensure exceptional customer service

• Contributing to a positive team culture that reflects our venue’s values

• Monitor Accommodation and check-in guests

• Implement Hotel Policies and Procedures

• Recruit, train and supervise staff

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws

• Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service.

• Audit par stock in all areas to make sure that all required hotel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need

• Daily Cash / Banking reconciliation

• Opening / Closing venues

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in a similar leadership role within a licensed Hotel, or hospitality venue

• Current RSA, RCG and ARCG (NSW) certifications – essential

• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills

• Great communication skills and a strong customer service ethic

• Knowledge of Hotel operations and compliance standards

• A flexible, hands-on approach with availability across weekdays, evenings, and weekends

• A genuine passion for hospitality and community connection
