Are you interested in a full-time temporary opportunity as an Asset Surveillance Officer, an exciting role that offers something different every day?
About the role
Our Asset Preservation team are an autonomous and innovative group of professionals that strive to make a difference daily by responding to customer service requests related to works within the road reserve, issuing local law permits and undertaking inspections of council's assets, and providing surveillance of building and construction activity to ensure the preservation, reinstatement and the construction of council assets are undertaken in accordance with Knox City Council standards.
You will have a customer-centric approach when investigating complaints and gaining compliance with Knox City Council's Local Law focusing on building site management and permit enforcement with an aim to providing community-based outcomes in line with relevant guidelines, policies, procedures and legislation.
This is a full-time temporary role working a nine-day fortnight, 7am - 4pm based at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, until June 2026. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 5 classified role; remuneration will be $80,377.95 - $93,517.76 gross per annum (depending on skills and experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the superannuation guarantee.
A tool of trade vehicle is available for travel to and from work.
