Contracts Administrator - $90 - $150k + super
Westcon is a Sunshine Coast based builder with over 30 years in the industry. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to support our project delivery and contribute to our continued growth.
As a Contracts Administrator at Westcon, you will work closely with our project managers and site teams to ensure the smooth and efficient administration of construction contracts from pre-construction through to project completion. You will play a key role documentation, procurement, coordination and cost control.
About You
2+ years’ experience as a CA on $3M+ commercial or multi-residential projects
Experience with Queensland Government builds (desirable)
Strong understanding of construction contract law, industry standards and D&C delivery (AS, GC21, bespoke contracts etc.)
Skilled in writing scopes of work and managing tender packages
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, documentation and compliance focus
Confident with procurement, contract admin, financial reporting, and document control
Analytical, organised, and commercially aware, you care about the numbers and the detail
Strong communicator, you’re clear, responsive, and professional with all stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Support tendering and procurement processes, prepare scopes of works, trade comparisons and subcontract - negotiation, preparation and execution
Administer subcontract and head contract obligations in accordance with contractual requirements – RFI’s, NOD’s, EOT’s, variations, progress claims & payment schedules
Maintain financial registers, budgets, cost forecasts, and cashflow tracking
Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and project records
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, stakeholders and internal teams, provide day-to-day commercial and administrative support to the PM, CA, SM
Support project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Assist in project closeout, including manuals, warranties, and certifications to achieve compliance with Head contract, Authority and Client specific requirements.
Assist with QA processes, compliance documentation and authority requirements
