Are you a qualified Boilermaker or Welder with experience in heavy vehicle fabrication? Join a well-organised workshop where your skills will be used on truck-mounted lifting systems, including crane and hook loader installations. Work with top-of-the-line equipment in a clean, safe environment alongside a supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing- Welding and fabricating chassis and subframes to engineering specifications
- Modifying and installing vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
- Assembling and disassembling crane and hook loader components
- Assisting fitters with installs as required
- Completing quality and process control documentation
- Following all safety and site procedures
- Trade qualification (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication)
- Proven welding/fabrication experience (heavy vehicle work highly regarded)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Current Driver’s Licence (HR preferred)
- Ability to pass a medical and police check
