The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Radiographer – Senior (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Perform high level examinations in General Radiography and Magnetic Resonance
• Direct, develop and supervise less experienced clinicians
• Apply professional judgement to the review and prioritisation of referrals
• Attend, participate and actively contribute in professional development activities

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Tertiary degree in Radiography
• AHPRA Registration
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Permanent full time
• Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum

The Medical Imaging delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. The service provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport and a Level 4 service at Robina with satellite imaging services at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital and Tugun Satellite Hospital.
