Workshop Coordinator | Permanent Position Located at Yatala Position Overview: Secure this hands-on position performing workshop mechanical repairs, attend site repairs in Gladstone and Newcastle as required, manage the Yatala consumables, stores and customer mechanical repair orders. Your new Company: Providing equipment and maintenance services to some of Australia’s and New Zealand leading processing plants and with operations in Brisbane, Gladstone, Newcastle and Portland, an opportunity has become available for you to manage the day to day activities carried out in the Brisbane workshop. With the primary focus for this role to carry out mechanical repairs, maintenance and refits of structural and non-structural components [ferrous and non-ferrous] with minimum supervision, it is expected that you will be looking for a role that you can make your own, a workshop that will be your responsibility to organise, maintain standards, control and complete project workflow and deliver on the group quality and safety requirements. As most of your work will have a level of autonomy involved it is expected that you have demonstrated technical experience, the ability to prioritise your workshop projects, manage contractors and labour hire during peaks in workload, identify and advise on product enhancements while producing work packs for each new activity being undertaking in the workshop. To secure this opportunity you will be Trade Qualified, hold a current Forklift Ticket with Dogging and Rigging certifications highly desirable. You will confidently and competently work unsupervised, deliver strong interpersonal skills across all your communications with colleagues, suppliers and customers, be organised, be open to travelling to site if required and have intermediate computer skills to take on the SAP system requirements for the workshop.
