Join a national leader in aviation services as a Security & Compliance Officer, supporting critical operations across a high-volume catering and logistics facility. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with national impact, working closely with a seasoned Security Manager and local port leadership.
- Lead and support investigations into security breaches and compliance incidents
- Conduct airside audits, spot checks, and facility walkthroughs
- Manage ID access, onboarding/offboarding, and criminal history checks
- Deliver security inductions and toolbox talks to new and existing staff
- Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and contractor performance
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external bodies (e.g. AFP, ABF)
- Maintain compliance with bonded warehouse and aviation security regulations
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
- Support national security initiatives and contribute to a "security-first" culture
What you'll need to succeed
- Background in police, military, border force, or internal corporate security
- Experience with CCTV, access control systems, and incident reporting
- Strong written communication and report writing skills
- Comfortable working independently and navigating sensitive situations
- Experience in regulated environments (aviation, logistics, manufacturing) preferred
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment is a bonus
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
