Welcome to 40 RES, a neighbourhood wine bar and restaurant where good food, great wine, and even better company come together. We celebrate Australian and international boutique winemakers and the best of Australian produce, offering a menu inspired by the chefs' travels around the world.
Located in the heart of Surry Hills, 40 RES is led by Josh Raine, the former executive chef of Tetsuya’s. The venue offers a selection of small plates, with a rotating wine list that complements every dish.
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Section Waiters and bartenders to join our warm and dedicated team. If you have a passion for food, wine, and exceptional service, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in delivering memorable experiences to our guests.
The right person will:
Have a bright and positive disposition.
Be passionate about providing outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.
Have experience managing a section in a premium or hatted restaurant.
Possess excellent wine knowledge.
Be available to work on Tuesday to Saturday
Have full working rights.
Classic cocktail knowledge
Responsibilities:
Manage a section of 20 to 25 guests with care and attention.
Deliver warm, enthusiastic, and attentive service.
Oversee food and drink service, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Have a good understanding of classic cocktails.
