JLC Associates is a boutique Chartered Accounting Practice located in Subiaco, WA. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our accounting team. If you have at least 2 years of experience and are ready to build your career in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role
As an Accountant, your tasks will include:
Assisting with month-end reporting tasks
Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Data entry including potential accounts payable and receivable management – generally as part of a month end / quarterly process
Preparation of ATO activity statements and payroll reporting
Financial Statement and Income Tax Return preparation for Individuals, Trusts & Companies
Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Annual Return preparation
General accounting and administrative support
About You
You are enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn. Essentially , you’ll bring:
A degree in Accounting
Minimum 2 years of accounting or finance experience
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar)
Excellent communication and time management skills
Working towards completing CPA/CA qualification (preferred but not essential)
