Westbuild Products is a well established Australian owned company based in Wangara. We are a leader in Western Australia for the manufacturing and distribution of packaged cement based building products. With modern production facilities and a diverse range of packaged building products suited to the hardware, plumbing, tiling and general building sectors. We are offering the opportunity for an experienced and motivated Customer Service / Logistics Support Officer to become an integral and valued part of our team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers so excellent customer service is a must, along with the ability to liaise with all departments to ensure orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm although part time may be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Answering incoming calls & emails promptly and professionally.
Daily input of customer orders into Order Management System.
Assisting with customer queries where possible.
Liaising with transport in relation to delivery schedules.
Creating freight bookings with transport companies.
Invoicing orders.
Scanning and filing of daily delivery dockets etc.
Additional administration duties as and when required.
Essential Criteria:
Exceptional customer service skills.
Experience with MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
Positive, can-do attitude.
High level of commitment and honesty.
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
In addition, experience within the manufacturing industry would be highly advantageous although ongoing training will be provided for the right applicant.
