We’re a Northern Territory family owned and operated business, with local knowledge, local employees and thorough experience working in the Northern Territory climate. We maintain a large, modern fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment, and we’re looking for a reliable and experienced Serviceman to join our growing team.
Your Role:
As an experienced Serviceman, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, light vehicles and trucks. This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has good communication skills and the drive to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of machinery and equipment
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Assist in inventory control and tool management
Collaborate with other technicians and departments as required
Requirements:
All candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
Trade qualification in mechanical, automotive, or related field
Proven experience in a workshop or similar environment
Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to workplace safety and efficiency
Valid driver’s license
