VAN RUTH® manufacture high quality specialised drill and bore hole plugs and packers facilitating ground stability and water control for use in underground and surface mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up, Programming, proving out and operating CNC lathes.
Setting up and operating manual machines.
Interpret drawings to manufacture high-quality components.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and maintain tolerance and quality standards throughout the machining process.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a small team.
Basic computer skills
Be able to adapt to other jobs that are as needed for the continuity of VAN RUTH®
General duties in the working environment to keep it safe and clean.
Requirements:
Strong emphasis on focus, craftsmanship and pride in your work.
Minimum of three years of experience as a machinist.
Knowledge in FANUC Manual Guide programming.
Understanding of ISO G-code programs.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle both at home and in the workplace.
Be physically fit and able to do manual handling and lifting of equipment and products in a safe manner.
Hold a current Western Australian driver's license
Good attitude and friendly nature
Be able to pass Police clearance
