• Interest in and/or passion for the RIE approach
• Inclusive of others and brings a positive attitude every day
• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our unique and innovative way of programming and practice
• Motivation to build and foster strong relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community
• Dedicated, enthusiastic and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Available for full-time work across all hours/days the service is operational and able to be flexible as required
• Considerable recent experience in the sector, ideally with babies and/or toddlers (desirable), paired with a true passion for engaging with these age groups (essential)
• ACECQA approved Certificate III and/or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or working towards, depending on capacity/course progress. Degree qualified Teachers are not needed, and therefore will not beconsidered at this time. Entry-level candidates however, are welcome to apply!
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training, with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).

We have used our combined personal and professional experience in the sector to design a service which offers spaces for children, families and Educators to develop trusting relationships, and foster a sense of community. Our unique space is an award-winning adaptive reuse of a former Inner West warehouse, thoughtfully transformed into an inspiring oasis for young children.

Excitingly, we are currently expanding our Camperdown campus, which is due to open within the coming month/s. This will increase enrolment capacity and create new opportunities for professional growth, leadership, collaboration, and enriched learning environments for both children and Educators. If you are being considered for a position as part of our expansion, you will be informed during the recruitment process, and rest assured you will still have guaranteed work at the original Camperdown service in the interim.
