Freight sorter- PM Shift
- 5 days per week Monday-Friday
- 4 pm onwards with 20-30 hours per week depending on workload
- Dandenong South location
- $37.44 per hour
- No experience needed - must be able to work the 5 days
About the company:
Industry leading freight distributor servicing Tasmania, Vic country and Metro Melbourne, NSW and SA with parcel, skid and pallet freight.
In this role you will be:
- Picking and sorting freight into designated areas(suburbs,postcodes)
- Assisting in the manual breakdown of freight
- Assisting loading/unloading stock on to conveyor
- Assisting in other areas such as put away, country, point and breakdown
- Scanning
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Reliability - team mentality
- Adaptability
- Physically fit as this is fast paced and there will be repetitive lifting up to 25kg
- Excellent communication skills
- Can work well in a team
