About the position
We are seeking an
Underground Maintenance Superintendent to provide technical trade related support and supervision to the underground business.
Reporting to the Underground Operations Manager, you will work closely with our clients’ maintenance teams while providing technical support to our operations teams.
You will be primarily based in our Perth Office in Welshpool, with regular travel required to our sites across Australia.
Core accountabilities include:
- Utilise both our Enaex maintenance personnel and contractors to complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard.
- Provide technical support to Enaex operations team in the field and directly to client’s maintenance teams.
- Liaise with contractors and client’s maintenance teams to schedule, organise and complete PM servicing and critical breakdown repairs.
- Supervise and support maintenance strategies for Enaex carrier rebuilds, components LV fleet and fixed plant assets across the underground operations.
- Lead projects regarding improvement opportunities from design to implementation.
- Maintain high levels of clear communication throughout all maintenance processes with operational and site personnel.
- Be the point of contact for Enaex site-based personnel and the client’s maintenance team for maintenance support and assistance.
- Demonstrate behaviour which contributes to a respectful and inclusive work environment.
- Attend to other duties as required.
Essential requirements:
• Trade certificate relevant to the role.
• High regard to workplace safety and maintaining safe systems of work.
• Two to five years’ experience in mobile fleet maintenance.
• High level of computer literacy skills.
• High level of verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Ability to multitask and manage tasks in differing stages of completion.
Desirable requirements:
• Previous experience with underground explosive mobile equipment.
• Previous experience with Normet equipment.
