Randstad is proud to partner with SAPN in their search for a Head of Procurement and Shared Services. This pivotal role will champion commercial excellence and change, positioning procurement as a strategic enabler of SAPN's business evolution and energy transition goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders and executives to identify opportunities and drive value through strategic procurement and commercial leadership.
• Lead the design and delivery of a future-focused procurement transformation leveraging modern technology and innovation.
• Establish a contemporary operating model with clear governance, compliance, and accountability frameworks.
• Lead performance enhancement across procurement metrics, improving cost outcomes, sourcing velocity, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
• Build organisational resilience and proactively strengthen supply chains.
• Strengthen team capability and confidence through digital enablement, professional growth, and adaptive leadership.
• Uphold strong governance, compliance, and risk management standards across procurement and shared services, driving greater value from long-term agreements.

• Proven senior leadership experience managing procurement and delivering supply chain transformation and value capture in a large organisation.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering, Member or Fellow of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS or FCIPS).
• Heavy industry or capital experience beneficial but diverse industry background will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and articulate the strategic value of procurement, building strong partnerships with senior leaders to drive organisational outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to harness data analytics for strategic decision-making, coupled with experience leading the assessment, delivery, and adoption of enabling technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement/supply chain governance, risk and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and align procurement with organisational strategy through strong influence, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence.
