ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Contracts Administrator / Senior Project Engineer, you’ll work alongside an experienced Project Manager across all aspects of project delivery — from trade letting and cost management to driving subcontractor performance.
This is a genuine opportunity to grow into a Project Manager role with structured mentoring and a clear career path.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage procurement, trade letting, and contract administration
- Assist with programming, coordination, and site delivery milestones
- Handle RFIs, variations, and cost tracking alongside the Project Manager
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to keep projects moving
- Conduct site inspections and assist with resolving on-site issues
- Support cash flow forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder communications
ABOUT YOU:
- Local Australian construction experience is essential
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.)
- Experience as a Contracts Administrator or Project Engineer with a Tier 2 or strong Tier 3 residential builder
- Proven experience delivering new build residential projects valued up to $50M
