The Opportunity Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing payroll team, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining payroll compliance across multiple industrial instruments. This position offers exposure to a large and diverse workforce, where you’ll provide guidance on payroll governance, taxation, and award interpretation while ensuring end-to-end accuracy of payroll data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review payroll compliance against relevant legislation, EBAs, and Awards
  • Interpret complex pay and tax requirements and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Conduct payroll audits and identify process or system improvements
  • Maintain payroll data integrity and ensure accurate reporting
  • Support system enhancements and compliance testing initiatives
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, and external bodies to ensure all obligations are met
About You You’re an analytical and solutions-focused Payroll professional who takes pride in getting the details right. You have a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation requirements, along with demonstrated experience in compliance monitoring or audit.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a payroll compliance or senior payroll analyst role
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax, superannuation, and award interpretation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to review, analyse, and interpret payroll data
  • Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across departments
