About the Position

We are looking to welcome a Therapist / Psychologist to enhance psychosocial outcomes for children and young people impacted by trauma

• Full time position.
• Government funded until 30 September 2028 (pending agreement) with possible extension.
• Level 6 SCHCADS Award. Salary range: $110,110 - $114,984 + Superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a client case load in consultation with your manager.
• Identify and work toward client goals and achieve successful case outcomes for clients.
• Attend stakeholder meetings for the benefit of clients and development of case plans.
• Regularly attend and participate in case reviews and other case discussions as required.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, or other relevant qualification.
• At least two years’ experience working with children, young people and their families within the child protection framework.
• Experience providing individual and family therapy to clients.
• Understanding of the impact of trauma on child and family functioning and the ability to provide a therapeutic response.

Other Requirements

• Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Legal ability to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required).
