About the role
Showtime Event Group is looking for enthusiastic Casual Function/Banquet Setup and Pack down Staff to join our team in at various venues across Melbourne. This is a casual role, perfect for those looking for flexible work in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, specifically Waiting Staff.
What you'll be doing
Setting up and packing down function spaces and equipment
Assisting with the delivered installation of tables, glassware, plates and cutlery
Ensuring all event spaces are set up to client specifications
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the event
Cleaning of venues.
Moving furniture, tables and chairs

What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar event setup or waiting staff role
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a team or independently
Enthusiastic and reliable approach to work
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Ability to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods
